So two months later, here I am in Germany! I already feel quite at home in my Spartan-like dorm room. Tuebingen is exactly what one would imagine a charming little German town to look like. The town center, which is about a thousand years old, is located on the Neckar river. Because the life of Tuebingen revolves around the University, there are so many things to do here for students. Cute little cafes, bars, and restaurants are on every corner. I've met a lot of people and I am having a wonderful time. My classes start tomorrow, so I must admit, I am a little nervous about that! But I only have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so how bad can it be? I made sure that my weekends were free for travel and adventures.

So, this is a picture of my humble abode here in Chapel Hill. In just a couple of weeks I'll be in Tuebingen, Germany. I guess I should be counting down the hours, but that would be too frightening! I don't have much time left until my departure, and I still haven't even thought about packing. Oh well. I prefer adventures and surprises anyway. I wouldn't want to be too prepared.
